A photo vaultthat showsits work.
Every photo is encrypted on your iPhone, read back, and compared with the original. Only then does Dearkept say verified. No account. No tracking. No servers of ours.
Free for your first 100 photos. Your originals in Photos are never changed.
Add, encrypt, check, verify. The status line turns green only after the comparison.
- No account
- No tracking or analytics
- No networking code
- Export never locked
- Backup to a folder you choose
Encrypted is not saved. Saved is not verified.
Most vaults call a photo safe the moment it is written. Dearkept only says verified after it has read the encrypted copy back and compared it with the original.
What it does, and what it will never do.
It does

Straight answers.
Does Dearkept work offline?
Yes. It contains no networking code and never talks to a server of ours. If you choose an iCloud Drive folder for a backup, iOS moves that file for you because you asked it to.
Can anyone at Dearkept see my photos?
No. Photos are encrypted on your iPhone with a key derived from your Vault Code and never leave the device through us. There is no account.
What if I lose my Vault Code?
If you have not saved your 12 recovery words either, your photos stay encrypted and nobody can open them. Vault Health tells you whether the words are saved.
Does adding a photo delete it from Photos?
Never. Dearkept keeps its own encrypted copy; your originals are not deleted or changed.
Is export locked behind Pro?
No. Export, backup and restore are free on every plan.
Where does the backup go?
To a folder you choose in Files. iCloud Drive is recommended and asked for first; a folder on this iPhone is allowed and labelled as being on this iPhone only.
